White Chocolate Lime Macarons

This week it is a recipe for lime macarons with French meringue. This is really a follow up from my lemon macaron with Italian meringue recipe from a year ago.

The citrus flavours works really well with the white chocolate and sweet macaron shells. These are also easier to make than the italian macarons so definitely one to try!

White Chocolate Lime Macarons


For the white chocolate lime ganache filling:

  • 100 ml Double Cream
  • 200 g White Chocolate
  • 1 Lime
  • 5 ml Lime extract optional

For the macaron shells (Almond Paste):

  • 125 g Almond Flour
  • 200 g Icing Sugar
  • 125 g Egg Whites
  • 50 g Caster Sugar
